At Myo Speech and Feeding Center we collaborate and work with your child's care team to restore the benefits of breastfeeding. TOTs can include lip ties, cheek ties, and tongue ties. This is when the frenula, which are connective pieces of tissue between the tongue and floor of the mouth, or the lip and gum, are short or thick, or have an atypical attachment, resulting in limitation of movement of the lips, cheek, and tongue. Tethered oral tissues may impact oral and facial growth, airway, speech, and feeding.
